PDP fires Sheriff, then appoints ex-Gov. Makarfi interim chairman

The Peoples Democratic Party has sacked its National chairman Ali Modu Sheriff, then appointed the former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi as the interim chairman, according to a tweet by SaharaReporters.

This is coming after the cancellation of the PDP national convention which was meant to hold in Port Harcourt today.
