PepsiCo owns other top companies: Orders 100 Tesla Semi Trucks

A couple of big corporations (Anheuser-Busch, Walmart, Sysco, J.B Hunt) are believing in the green energy use, as they are ordering for electric trucks to transport their goods and services. The most recent corporation to order for the Tesla Semi Truck is popular beverage company PepsiCo, which is a major rival to Coca-Cola.

The Tesla Semi Truck (Electric Vehicle) is suddenly getting attention from big companies. We recently talked about a beer company that placed an order for the Truck, now PepsiCo has beat all the other companies by ordering for a whooping 100 Trucks, the biggest order recorded so far.

Elon Musk the CEO and product architect of Tesla Inc., will be so glad that a couple of big companies are beginning to believe in the electric vehicles (EV) which is the future of road transportation. The future is actually now.

The 100 electric trucks will join PepsiCo's over 9,000 diesel semi trucks to serve precise routes in North America. However the trucks will transport snacks foods and beverages from distribution centers and factories to retailers, and will choose a suitable route for the electric trucks.

Tesla will be smiling to the bank as they have increased the order charge from $5,000 per truck to an astonishing rate of $20,000.

Don't be surprised if Coca-Cola beats PepsiCo very soon in ordering more than 110 Tesla Semi Trucks.

PepsiCo will have to wait till the trucks are manufactured, as Tesla has said that production of the Semi Trucks will start in 2019, a remarkable year.
