Normal factory vehicles are transformed to armored vehicles by Armormax, an Utah based vehicle armored company. The Tesla Model S electric car has gotten its own feel of the armored standard.

Armormax improved a Tesla Model S P100D electric car to a bulletproof standard for a client in the Middle East according to motorauthority.

The Tesla Model S P100D goes from 0 - 100 km/h within 2.4 seconds, but with the armored advancement, it will be expected that the speed will reduce, based on the extra weight, but Armormax are known for making the fastest armored vehicles, so the Tesla Model S P100D will not be bothered about its acceleration and speed.

When the Tesla Model S P100D was upgraded to its armored status, the protection added 550 pounds to the weight of the car, however the increase in weight will not hinder the performance of the car.

So here it is, an electric armored car that is fast despite its upgrade to an armored version.
