BOOM: Nigerians To Enjoy Data Rollover From June 26

Beginning from June 26 2018, Nigerians will enjoy data rollover from all telecommunication networks as the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has directed the telecommunication operators to adhere to this new data rollover policy.

This new development was birthed when the NCC's Executive Vice Chairman, Prof Garba Umar Danbatta revealed the new policy in a meeting with the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON) in Abuja on the 7th of June, 2018.

The new policy instructs that telecommunication operators must add a subscriber's unused or unfinished data to his/her new or next data subscription from the 26th of June, 2018.

The penalty that will be given to telecommunication operators who do not implement this policy is N5m fine for each subscriber that they fail to roll over.
