Elon Musk’s mini-submarine was not useful for the Thailand cave rescue after-all

We recently wrote an article about the Thailand soccer team that was trapped in a cave and how rescue efforts from SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was underway "Elon Musk Builds a kid-sized submarine to rescue Thailand’s trapped soccer team." After much testing of the submarine pod, Elon Musk flew over with the pod to Thailand to assist in the rescue.

When Musk arrived Thailand, the Thai divers have already rescued five of the people trapped in the cave.

Musk actually entered the cave but his pond was not allowed to partake in the rescue effort, as some people felt that it will not be able to navigate the narrow twists and turns of the Tham Luang cave for a proper rescue mission. Musk left the pod with Thailand officials with the intent that they may need it for future purposes.

At the moment the rescue operation is now over, the 12 boys, aged 11 to 16 who were trapped in the cave for 18 days are now safe and sound.

Lesson learnt: You may try to do something that you think is incredible and life changing, but some people may turn you down no matter the level you have gotten to in life. Never be discouraged. Encourage yourself.
