The 9th Installment Of Fast & Furious Will Feature Idris Elba As A Villian

The Fast & Furious franchise just got better as English actor Idris Elba who is not new to playing villian roles in movies will feature in the ninth installment of Fast and Furious car movie.

He will face off against Dwayne Johnson (Hobbs) and Jason Statham (Shaw) in the upcoming spin-off "Hobbs and Shaw" which will hit cinema screens on the 26th of July, 2019.

The movie will be directed by Deadpool 2 director David Leitch and will be written by Chris Morgan. It was also revealed that Venessa Kirby may play the role of Shaw's sister.

Dwayne Johnson confirmed Idris Elba's appearance in the movie with a tweet and said: "I promised we were going to make this Fast & Furious spin off awesome and grow our franchise properly. He's a bad man (legit bad ass). I better toughen up."
