I Believe In A New Nigeria - Fela Durotoye

Read Fela Durotoye's statement below:

"Hey guys,.I thought it necessary to give you a quick update.
Tomorrow, we go into the final stage of critical conversations with P.A.C.T (Presidential Aspirants Coming Together) to determine our Consensus Candidate for the General Elections..
The truth is, we are better off & stronger together. Our chances of delivering a new Nigeria are stronger if we can come together & be committed to our collective vision of a new Nigeria than our individual ambitions..
The idea of PACT is to ensure we do not split the common voter block in a way that guarantees the failure of all aspirants inspite of our best effort to providing a credible alternative to the existing establishment..
Whatever the outcome, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for all the amazing work you’ve done to bring us this far..
It seems like a lifetime ago that I expressed my interest to serve our nation at the highest level of Office.
And since then, we’ve joined a party, @alliancefornewnigeria criss-crossed 16 states, reached thousands of people with the message of the #NewNigeria, raised volunteers and inspired hope across the nation..I couldn’t have done it without you.
.Thank you for the sacrifice of time and resources to believe.. not only in the Nigeria we’re committed to build, but in Fela Durotoye.
.I couldn’t be prouder of Team FD, of you and all we’ve achieved together. .
Tomorrow, we will have a Consensus Candidate and all 18 members of PACT have agreed to support whoever emerges..
As long as the team wins, it doesn’t matter who scores the goal..
.By the Grace of God, tomorrow, we’ll have some exciting news to share & thank God for, but also, a lot more responsibility to deliver the future of the New Nigeria.
.Do say a prayer for me that only God’s will be done.
.I’ll keep you posted as things unfold. .
God bless you and may God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria 🇳🇬 .FD."
