Video: Stampede As People Went To Register To Get Their PVC At INEC Office In Port Harcourt
It was an ugly incident that took place at an INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) office in Port Harcourt, where a soldier beat citizens who tried to exercise their civic duties by registering to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) in order to vote at the elections.
The inferno took place at INEC office along East/West Road, Eligbolo on the 31st of August, 2018.

Below is a suggestion for effective INEC registration as seen on Twitter:
Why can't INEC just create a system that will let people register for Voters card themselves with their personal computing device by using BVN or National ID number ❓❔❔❕❗— E-zrael Ani (@EzraelAni) August 31, 2018
Those without BVN or NIN should be allowed to use the current process and they should use the informations/data provided to generate a NIN for them. Simple, it's like killing 2birds with one stone.— E-zrael Ani (@EzraelAni) August 31, 2018
We really don't have to be stressing ourselves every time for registrations. 😒
