Photos: Music Run Nigeria shutdown Port Harcourt City
The event began with participants warming up at the Polo Club GRA Port Harcourt in preparation for the 5km walk for safety and security. Nalucool was specially contacted to cover the event, and the Nalucool team came out in full force to capture every angle of the event.
The Red Cross was available in case of an emergency, other organizations present includes: the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the Nigerian Police Force (NPF), the Nigeria Security Civil and Defence Corps (NSCDC).
The 5 km walk started from Polo Club GRA Phase 2, through GRA junction to Rumuola, then back to Hotel Presidential, through Salvation Ministries, then Genesis Center and it ended at Polo Club.
During the walk, loud music was played which gave the over 5000 participants the opportunity to dance while walking for a safe environment, safe election, security, peace, and against depression.
The walk was well coordinated as security agencies ensured orderliness and safety of participants.
Special personalities that graced the Music Run includes: Tonye Briggs of Port Harcourt In Pictures, Goodluck Azunwena of Port Harcourt To The World, Anita May Igoni of Miss Port Harcourt City, Stanley of Galaxy Music Awards, Fashion Mob Public models, Galaxy Music Awards nominees, Miss Port Harcourt City 2018/2019 contestants.
