The Afro Street Fashion Festival 2018 was all shades of African display

Port Harcourt City enjoyed an amazing Afro centric street festival on Saturday December 1st 2018 at Baraka junction, Evo road, GRA Phase 2.

The festival was organised by the Creative Hub which is located at 45 Evo road, GRA, Port Harcourt, Nigeria. The Creative Hub is a place where Port Harcourt creatives gather to network, collaborate and become more innovative.

Ibinabo Amakiri is the convener of the Creative Hub that has built a lot of amazing talents and is still building more talents. Ibinabo Amakiri is also the brain behind the Afro Street Fashion Festival. The Creative Hub holds an Open Mic event on the last Sunday of every month by 5pm at 45 Evo road, GRA Phase 2, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

The red carpet host was Oluwaican, while the main host was Speech.

The Afro Street Fashion Festival featured models walking on a runway with African inspired outfits. There was free water and beer for attendees with a lot of prizes won via raffle draws.

Daniel Kpodoh the brain behind Biokpo The Musical stage drama was the creative director for the event.

There was also a bike show that got everyone so excited with the stunts.

There was also musical performances by Port Harcourt artistes like George Siki, Spencer, Dan Dizzy, Dr. Barz ,Legendary Suni and others.

At the close of the event, there was a public display of affection as fireworks 🎆 went up into the sky.
