EFCC & CBN Join Forces To Freeze Rivers State Bank Accounts - Nyesom Wike

Rivers State Governor Barr. Nyesom Wike at a campaign in Ogu-Bolo today in Rivers State, revealed that the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) are planning to rid Rivers State of funds during the 2019 election.

Wike claimed that both parties met with Managing Directors of Nigerian Banks and instructed them not to release funds to Rivers State during the election. This looks like a tactical opposition move. What do you guys think?

Wike said: "The CBN Governor and the  EFCC Chairman invited the Managing Directors of Banks and told them to deny Rivers State  cash during the elections.  They told them to strangulate Rivers State."
