INEC Loses It's Integrity As They Postpone The 2019 Nigerian General Elections... Shame!!!

The 2019 Nigerian General Elections for President and National Assembly was billed to hold today 16th February 2019, however news from the Sahara Reporters late yesterday revealed that the election was postponed and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will confirm it later.

So many Nigerians claimed that it was fake news, until INEC confirmed it early this morning.

By 2am on Saturday 16th February 2019, a press briefiing by Hon. Chairman INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, revealed that the Elections will now hold on; 23rd February, 2019 for Presidential and National Assembly, while the Governorship, State House of Assembly and the FCT Area Council Elections is to hold on 9th March, 2019.

This postponement has affected the plans of many Nigerians, the international observers and NYSC members.

The Commission will meet key stakeholders to update them on this development at 2pm on Saturday 16th 2019 at the Abuja International Conference Center.
