The Same Way You Came Out En Masse For #BBNaija Come Out To Vote - Reno Omokri #BusesForDemocracy
It is no longer news that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) postponed the Nigerian General Elections slated originally for 16th February and March 2nd 2019 to 23rd February and 9th March 2019 respectively.
Ben Bruce a Nigerian Senator and Reno Omokri a former aide to the previous President Goodluck Jonathan, have clamoured for free buses to take prospective voters who want to travel to their polling unit, in order to vote for the candidate of their choice.
To give more momentum to the campaign, Reno had this to say: "I saw the long line for #BBNaija audition. Thousands of Nigerian youths slept outside just to audition. Now I am begging you to love Nigeria at least as much as you loved #BBNaija. Instead of refusing to vote, come and ride on my free #BusesForDemocracy to vote this Saturday."
Reno Omokri noted that the free buses will be for registered voters only. Read his statement: "

I repeat, the free #BusesForDemocracy are for those who are:
* Registered voters
* Travelling for the purpose of voting
* IRRESPECTIVE of who you will vote
* No campaigning in the buses
I also urge wealthy Nigerians to provide #BusesForDemocracy
Reno also said this:
Not only will I provide buses, but on the Abuja to Kano route, I will provide food for the journey IRRESPECTIVE of who you vote for. I call on wealthy Nigerians to provide free #BusesForDemocracy for those who were frustrated by INEC postponement."
Ben Bruce also chipped in a little, he said:
"Wealthy Nigerians fly around in private jets. For the cost of a private jet ride from Lagos to Kano, you can pay for 1000 Nigerians who were frustrated by the postponement to return to vote. Freedom is free, but it‘s not cheap. Please support #BusesForDemocracy for Nigeria’s sake."
