Mitsubishi realizes an incredible design in its 2018 SUV Eclipse Cross
Mitsubishi has built a new concept SUV, the Eclipse Cross which was impressively designed and is bigger than the Outlander.
When you hear a car called Eclipse you will think of the Mitsubishi Eclipse coupe, but here that is not the case, the Eclipse Cross is a four door SUV which can be likened to the Honda CRV style.
This off-roader SUV has a corporate grille and sharp headlights along with an elegant fog light. It can be seen with angular lines that brings out the beauty in its daring design.
The Eclipse is equipped with a horizontal touchscreen with a new infotainent system named Smartphone Link Display (SLD), along with a system that supports both Andriod Auto and Apple CarPlay. The vehicle speed, navigation directions, along with the different safety systems which are displayed in the dash screen, can also be displayed in the head-up display.
The SUV will be offered in a 1.5-liter turbocharged gas engine and a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine, however the American spec will probably opt for the 1.5-liter engine, spinning all the four wheels via a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and an elctronically controlled four-wheel drive system.
Driving the Eclipse Cross will be of an utmost delight as Mitsubishi has built this off-road machine, to capitalize on the growing popularity of SUVs, and to stay relevant in the automobile market.
For optimum safety, as the driver of a vehicle, always remember to always put on your seat belt and ensure all passengers are putting on theirs. While for toddlers, use a baby car seat which should be strapped at the backseat of the vehicle, not at the front seat. Enjoy.
