The 2018 Infiniti Q50 steps up to a self piloting standard
Infiniti has a way of matching mind-blowing designs to evolving technological performance. The 2018 Infiniti Q50 has been built in such a way that it can to an extent control its vehicular movement, but the car cannot drive itself independently though.
The exterior boasts of
a sleek bonnet design, with its LED headlights looking like the eyes 👀 of a beast.
The rear has a daring look equipped with a twin exhaust system. The car is
equipped with 19-inch aluminium alloy wheels for a sportier look.
Talking about the
interior, it has a more improved upgrade as the panels and dash are of
leather-like trim, all double stitched. The infotainment system which is the
latest from Infiniti’s branch out, has two touch screen displays which is 8
inches in the upper level and 7 inches in the lower level. The seats were
specially crafted and will give the driver and passengers a more comfortable feeling;
they are spinal support seats which will reduce pressure on the lower and upper
back muscles.
Infiniti has introduced
some electronic driving aids which assist in the driving and safety of the car
in highly advanced ways, the system used is the ProPilot, and the Q50 is the
first Infiniti vehicle to be equipped with this technology. The ProPilot has
features such as: adaptive cruise control, collision warning, blind spot
warning and intervention, forward emergency braking, predictive forward
collision warning, backup collision intervention, steering assistance, active
lane control which will prevent drivers from swerving out of their lane, and
lane departure warning and prevention. The lane departure and prevention will
definitely not function on Nigerian roads because; most roads do not even have
clearly mapped out lanes.
When it comes to
performance, the Q5 will blow your mind. The Q5 Sport is offered in twin
turbocharged 3.0 liter V6 that makes 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet torque,
meanwhile the Red Sport version is offered in exclusive twin-turbo V6 that
makes 400 horsepower. There is also a hybrid feature equipped with 3.5 liter V6
producing 360 horsepower; this car will definitely rule the streets with all
these features.
