Nigerian Mechanics May Run At A Huge Loss As Tesla Model 3 Is Unveiled

CEO of Tesla "Elon Musk" with the new Tesla Model 3
A few days ago, we told you guys about the release of the Tesla Model 3, which is the cheapest electric car at the moment priced at $35,000 (N13 million).

It is one thing to celebrate the Tesla Model 3 electric car, which has a battery to power the car for about 310 miles on a single 30 minutes charge, and it’s another thing to know that Nigeria with so much dependence on oil as it’s major source of revenue, may not be ready for the change that the electric car is bringing on-board.

The Tesla Model 3 electric car, is a more reliable car than the petrol and diesel cars. A petrol or diesel powered car requires it’s first maintenance after about 5,000 miles, while the Tesla Model 3 electric car will need a maintenance after a million miles. With the emergence of the electric car, cars will not visit the mechanic workshop regularly.

In conclusion, Nigerian mechanics will need to diversify and focus on the future by embracing green energy.
