Electric car is fast becoming the next best masterpiece, and the Chinese are not letting their guard down as they have been taking major steps to end the production of fuel powered vehicles, which have been causing a lot of air pollution. This will create a pathway for electric vehicles to dominate the automobile industry.
Over 500 models of fuel powered Chinese vehicles, will not be produced again, in order to achieve a green environment. This took effect from January 1st 2018.
Be that as it may, it will be illegal to sell fuel powered vehicles at the moment in China, because they are above the fuel consumption limits. This is coming from a country that imports a majority of its gasoline to power its fuel powered vehicles.
This recent development is not coming as a surprise, because the Chinese government officials have been deliberating on how to end the production of fuel powered vehicles since September 2017.
In December 2017, it was clear that the end of fuel production vehicles was near, and the improvement of the production of electric vehicles was also certain.

This move will reduce the air pollution in China and reduce emission in a little way, compared to pollution coming from electric power generation and industrial production.
Some measures that China is taking in order to adapt to this new development, is to increase the supply of lithium-ion battery cells, photovoltaic solar cells, and electric cars.
This is a major step coming from one of the world's most industrious countries.
